2. Offline gameplay
Machine War 2099: Survivors works without an account or an internet connection. The app contains no advertising, analytics or tracking SDKs, no online leaderboard and no in-app purchases. Data crystals are earned only through gameplay. Music and sound effects are bundled with the app. The app does not request access to location, contacts, camera or microphone.
3. Local data and purpose
Language, sound, volume, haptics and screen-shake preferences, the FPS display setting, tutorial status, records and recent run results are stored on your device. These serve the game functions you request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where personal data is involved; section 25(2), no. 2 TDDDG for necessary device storage). Active combat runs are not saved for resuming after the app is closed. Gameplay data is not sent to us.
4. Retention, deletion and Apple
Local data remains until the app and its data are deleted via iOS. Offloading the app retains its data. Device or iCloud backups may contain app data depending on your Apple settings. Apple manages backups, App Store downloads and any diagnostics you share with Apple under its own privacy policy. We do not receive your Apple account password. The app itself does not upload diagnostics or use CloudKit.
5. Website links and hosting
Legal information is available offline in the app. Only opening a website or email link starts the respective external service. When you visit e-lector.de, the host processes connection data such as the requested page, time, browser, device details and IP address. Hosting uses united-domains GmbH with IONOS SE infrastructure. According to the hosting provider, access logs with anonymised IP addresses are stored for eight weeks for security and stability (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Our pages contain no analytics or advertising trackers; the provider may use technically necessary cookies under section 25(2), no. 2 TDDDG. See the website privacy policy for details.
6. Support enquiries
If you contact support, we process your email address and the information you provide to answer your request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contract-related matters, otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Email service providers may process the correspondence. Please do not send passwords or unnecessary personal details. Messages are retained as long as needed for the enquiry and follow-up, or for statutory retention duties or legal claims, and are then deleted.
7. Your rights
Subject to the statutory conditions, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your situation and withdraw consent, where applicable, for the future. Contact support@e-lector.de. You may complain to a supervisory authority, including the Independent Data Protection Centre Saarland (datenschutz.saarland.de). We do not carry out automated decision-making with legal or similarly significant effects. We cannot access or remotely delete data stored only on your device.
