Your arsenal grows with you
Rex and Nova have different starting equipment and strengths. Combine weapons and upgrades to suit your play style.
Rust Belt, Cryo Reactor, Ash Dunes and Orbit Yard each feature their own enemies, bosses, buildings, mechanisms and soundtracks.
Earn coins in battle and buy weapons at the armory. Discover special equipment combinations and put the arena’s mechanisms to work.
Complete maps to unlock four permanent suits for both characters. Upgrade them through three tiers and choose the strengths and trade-offs that suit your next run.
More health for a sturdy combat style, with slightly lower movement speed.
A higher fire rate for offensive play, with less maximum health.
A wider pickup radius and more coins for your equipment.
More speed and longer protection after hits, with less maximum health.
Final boss victories award reactor cores or fragments. These rewards stay with you even if your run ends in defeat afterwards.
Preview of Version 1.2
The game is already available on the App Store. The following improvements are prepared for version 1.2 and will be available when the update is released.
Permanently unlock ten special weapons using reactor cores. Select up to three blueprints before a run to make their weapons available through level-up choices.
Equip an unlocked module for your run. Active boosts such as Overdrive and Combat Overload have visible effects directly on your character.
Three depots offer affordable weapons and extra equipment. Repairs, a rechargeable shield and reusable Overdrive help you prepare for the next boss fight.
Bosses pursue you more decisively and reach the action sooner. Small directional arrows show where bosses are when they move beyond the screen.
Optimized visual effects reduce the processing load. Music continues during upgrade selection, and audio recovery after interruptions has been improved.
Updated menus make preparing a run easier. Module selection appears only after you unlock a module. Track your personal bests and your last 30 runs locally.
Defeat both minibosses and the final boss on the same map in one run to unlock its special module: Adaptive Armor, Emergency Protocol, Salvage Module or Combat Overload.
Each blueprint costs one reactor core. Selecting it before a run adds its weapon to the upgrade choices; you equip the weapon only by choosing it during the run.
